Re: Le Tissier
Antizionism = criticism of the policy of the Israeli government - no problem.

Anti Zionism, is not criticising the foreign policy of the Israeli government, it is being against the nation state of Israel existing at all.

That's how it used to be. That's how it should still be.

Re: Le Tissier
FFS, nobody is gagged of the right to critique Zionism. It's really quite simple but so many people just don't get it:

Antisemitism = criticism of the Jewish people per se - not good.
Antizionism = criticism of the policy of the Israeli government - no problem.

What's amusing is there is fuck all new about their support for Palestine. Watching the Zionist Establishment dive into a moral panic since that tweet has been funny as.

The media trying (their hardest) to antagonise football and it's supporters, maybe goad them into anti-social activities.

What's the news value in that?

Re: Le Tissier
All that's gonna happen now is another 'movement' is going to be started that doesn't have the sinister undertones of BLM, and we'll have this same circus all over again.

Football should not be involved whatsoever with all this shit. It is not a political vehicle ffs. It already has Kick It Out, which is a good thing, and that is where it should end. Forcing people to kneel & wear badges, and if they don't their career will be over? Is that the sort of society and message we want?

"As Israel moves forward with the annexation of the West Bank, and mainstream British politics is gagged of the right to critique Zionism, and Israel’s settler colonial pursuits, we loudly and clearly stand beside our Palestinian comrades.

FREE PALESTINE."

The lobby then went onto gag BLM...

Presenters last night stopped wearing the badge, a good start. Now for the pathetic players to stop kneeling and the shirts to have kick it out on them instead!

He has said he supports the racial equality message so will wear the badge even though he doesn’t agree with other parts of their platform.
That’s his view and that’s up to him.
